Pitra dosha is caused merely because of the effects of karmic laws upon any individual. There is a saying that as a man saws so shall he will reap. So, every karmic action of ours shall have equal & opposite reaction in the future. Pritra dosha in a person’s horscope indicates such karmic effects. Any individual who has committed some bad karma in the previous life, has to suffer from the effects of Pitra dosha. When such a person is born in a family whose ancestors are cursed, as a result, some short of disturbances runs throughout the family line. It is not necessary that all persons born in that family will have pitra dosha. All the family members shall not have to bear the effects of the curse.
