Black magic in Indian Culture

We all have heard of this dark occult world of black magic that makes impossible things to happen, the weird pronouncing of mantras, and chanting of spells, invoking of spirits and forces of nature which coexists with us. But how many among us have really tried to delve into the depths of this obscure world to know exactly what it is? Few right…..? Yes in this edition we give you some highlight on the same and would brief you on the various kinds of Indian practices, taboos and rituals which are practices by these magic practitioners.

Black magic can be described as a strong potential force which when enters the human body system causes a lot of disruption and causes several hassles in the ideal functioning of mind, body and soul as well. Indian mythology believes that this kind of entrance of such negative energy causing hurdles and issues in the life of a person without the host’s body knowledge is exactly what black magic does.

This kind of magical presence not just destroys the life of the concerned victim but also does leave a great impression on the other persons who have been involved in this evil activity. Though these kinds of black magical practices are banned in India, but many do follow the same for their own personal benefits, for fulfilling their vengeance or anger against the others etc.

The magical practitioner who performs these magical spells is known as a ‘Tantrik’ in India.

He is considered to be one who has mastered the skill of magic and has the capability to make impossible things happen. The prime intention behind any kind of magical practice which is done by these tantric is to bring good upon someone by causing evil to other. This has always been the basic principle upon which black magic works. This person is someone who harnesses negative energy and uses it for various kinds of cold hearted and callous deeds.

It is believed that these ‘Tantriks’ can also see the spirits or the so called ghosts and can get various tasks performed from them. They lead a very rugged and hard life of a short life span. Due to the constant dealings with the spirits and other supernatural forces they always tend to have a restless life. Most of them perform these kinds of callous activities jut for money, but others do it for mastery their skill and knowledge in their dark world of magic.

In India, though many fear these kinds of practices but to resort to the same in dire necessity when things do not fall in place for them. This could be for various kinds of intentions, like for getting a good job, for baby birth, for better career, for gaining financial stability, etc. Indian black magic goes with a lot of sacrifices as well which is made in the form of blood, life, etc.

Mostly human sacrifices etc. are done in situations of extreme hard spells which requires the spirits of the invoked forces to be made really happy to get the job done. In other cases one get to see clay dolls made by these Tantriks and in most of the cases they use some or the other kind of object which has a direct connection with the person on whom the spell is being casted. This object is then wrapped upon this clay doll and then various kinds of spells are chanted.

The clay doll is the form of the same person and is a representation of the victim. It is believed that whatsoever is done to the doll, any kind of inflictions which is made on this doll is also felt by the victim as well. The final intention of the Tantrik could be to even kill the person or to leave him injured or helpless.

Let me discuss in brief few kinds of symptoms which are found in individuals who have become victims to these kinds of evil practices. To start with one might find the person to be quite aloof from others and would prefer to be left alone always. One would get annoyed quite frequently and one can get to see their nails slightly turning black in color.

Irregular occurrence of neck pain and shoulder ache becomes a normal happening and the victims always hate to take bath. Talking to oneself is another symptom which one can notice mostly in these victims of such evil practices. In Indian mythology, it is also believed that when one is influence or a victim of these black magic spells, then the Tulsi plant which is found in the courtyard of all Indian homes dies off suddenly. So guys now you know exactly when anything goes off the track right?

Psychic Attacks influence on energy body, mental, physical

A psychic attack is a negative energy that someone sends with the conscious or unconscious intention to inflict harm upon a person, their life, or their family. Harm can be launched toward the emotional, physical, spiritual, or mental state of a person. Those negative energies are typically projected in the form of thought, based on jealousy, envy, anger, and more.

Psychic attack is when you come under the attack of negative energy or low level entities, this may be intentionally sent to you by another individual. By a jealous ex or a so called friend turned enemy.

The reason why it’s called psychic attack is because it attacks the spiritual body in such a powerful way that leaves you defenseless, vulnerable, powerless and open to other entities or beings. The symptoms may seem so natural and hard to detect at first the person may think they are just going through a phase of bad luck or have fallen terribly ill. The furthest thing from their mind is that they are under psychic attack. They may also think that they are going through a phase of the jinx. This energy may enter your energetic field undetected or hit you like a ton of bricks. At first glance it may be hard to detect by the normal senses, its effect may be felt gradually or suddenly. The person may start forgetting simple things having headaches, neck pains and body aches, they may also experience light to extreme fatigue. A feeling of being tired all the time and blame it on stress. The person may even experience anxiety and panic attacks, hearing voices or negative thoughts that can make him or her feel as if they are losing their mind. These attacks can be so severe that a patient may sometimes be misdiagnosed with mental illness, schizophrenia or even a nervous breakdown by doctors or psychiatrist. These negative energies, beings or lower level entities can affect your life in so many harmful ways. Most of these negative entities that find their way to a person or home are usually sent by another individual via complicated rituals or ceremonies which may include candles, pictures, cemetery dirt or powders thrown at a persons door or place of employment and can also be sent as energy, often to control or create a certain negative effect in the life of an individual or place. Once the person comes in contact with this energy they will gradually start feeling the effects of the negative energy or low level spirit. These things do happen, and more often than not, so it is of most importance to be aware of what symptoms these negative energy can create. I recommend you keep an open mind and understand that these things do exist and have destroyed the lives of many individuals and have even driven people to an early grave via mental and psychic attack.

Symptoms of A Psychic Attack

When you are under psychic attack, you might experience these possible symptoms:

  • Unexplained sense of fear
  • Very frightening nightmares, often causing a fear of sleep
  • Negative thoughts that seem to pop into our mind from out of nowhere
  • Feeling tired for no reason at all
  • Sudden illnesses that seem to have no diagnosis
  • Strange accidents that seem to be recurring
  • Having unexplained pains on a regular basis
  • Experiencing random illnesses and pains that your attacker is aware of, even if you have not told anyone
  • Having painful headaches accompanied by dizziness and vomiting
  • Feeling an unexplained sense of doubt in your life
  • Lack of clarity in thinking, or a sudden change in your analytical ability
  • Sudden onset of depression
  • Irrational outbursts of sorrow, anger and fear
  • Hearing voices or having the feeling of being watched or followed, even when you are alone
  • Constantly seeing your attacker in your dreams and thoughts

One of the key power of the psychic attack is it hits during ones weakest point! This is simply because at a weakened state, already, the energy level of the person is quite low. This can be, for example, during an instance of physical fatigue, emotional breakdown, mentally weak, or even spiritually low. Let’s consider a person, after his day’s work, he is in a state of tiredness, and here there is a physical fatigue. If the body is tired, and the mind restless, the protective shield slackens. With an emotional upheaval somehow, that protective auric field becomes mild and too subtle to be strong. Hence, that ‘negative intention arrow’ pierces the aura easily.

Most often, psychic attacks go unnoticed by the victim. But by the time the attacks intensify, the vulnerability of the person increases, resulting in the various psychic attacks symptoms.

Most psychic attacks are coined as Physical, Mental, Emotional and Spiritual. Wild the physical attack is said to be mild, the Spiritual one is the highest form. Physical psychic attacks form mild disturbances, and the person can get symptoms like headaches, rashes, stomach ache and various other aches and pains. Mental psychic attacks are medium form of attacks. Victims may feel a variety of negative emotions or thoughts such as general depression, fear, guilt, hate or jealousy. Generally, these negative emotions or thoughts occurring have no actual basis and are often far stronger than the person’s typical negative mental state. Emotional psychic attacks bring victims down on an emotional level. This happens mostly during a heartbreaking situation, or a simply an insult. Spiritual psychic attacks is a high level of attack. They can result in an unusual and extreme personality or mood swings. The victim may behave oddly. This kind of attack can destroy or injure badly the victim.

Past Life Regression Therapy To Solve Present Life Problems

Past-life healing specifically targets core root issues at a deep subconscious level.

When undergoing past life healing, clients deeply relate to the past-life issues that surface. Past-life work has proven to me and others beyond any doubt, that we can access our very real past selves. I’ve never met a client whose past life core issues didn’t relate directly to their most painful issues in this lifetime.

If you really want to work deeply on a dysfunctional program it can be helpful to consider the theory:
You entered this lifetime with this dysfunctional program – thus attracting the parents and ‘less than’ results that you did.

You may have re-lived and repeated this program for several lifetimes. Most people do. By accessing the core root of the dysfunction (where it was first established) a powerful healing re-creation can unlock and heal this wound significantly.

The Answer to Toxicity Lies in Your Past. If we die without healing and emotional resolution, we will re-create the same drama in future lives in order to grant the opportunities to heal and move away from the fearful belief system. The most powerful false belief systems are those that have painful emotional charges connected to them. This is why programs connected to grief and trauma can be extremely embedded.

Past life healing is often the modality of last resort. When someone has tried all other avenues of both traditional and alternative medicine to address their present condition, they look to their past lives for the cause. If the problem does lie in the past, it can be remarkably resistant to present life cures.

Here are signs that “typically” indicate that someone has a “past life problem”. They are listed in order from most to least commonly experienced:

  • Inexplicable Pain: This is the most common symptom of a past life problem. The person will have a persistent pain that doctors cannot explain or treat. They will say “there is nothing wrong with you” that translated into English means “I am clueless about how to get rid of your pain”. And the doctors are correct: because the pain is coming from the past, it cannot be treated in the present.
  • Inappropriate Fears: If someone points a gun to your head and threatens to pull the trigger that is an appropriate fear because:
  1. it is a threatening situation
  2. there is a clear and present danger
  3. there can be no doubt about cause and effect.

In other words, if the gun goes off in close proximity to your head, you will die and it is appropriate to be fearful that situation. However, fearing a situation becomes inappropriate when there is no imminent threat, no forseeable danger, and no obvious link between cause and effect.

  • Uncontrollable Habits: Everyone has their little quirks and rituals. Usually they are harmless and often they can be what endear us to other people. Habits usually are helpful: they are formed by our experience to make our lives easier and to help us avoid mistakes that we have made in the past. Yet when someone has a habit that they do not want, that they cannot stop, and that is actively interfering with their life and relationships, a past life may be causing it. Worse, the habit will not go away unless the past life causing it is healed.
  • Strange Memories: Today, through the magic of movies and television, we are able to have a wider knowledge of life by seeing the stories of others’ experiences. However, we are easily able to tell the difference between what is and what is not our “reality”. Yet, the bounds of our reality become stretched when we visit a place we have never been before and know it as well as our own home. Or when we instantly know how to do something we have never been taught. Or when a sight, a sound, a smell, a taste, or a touch transports us back to a place or causes us to remember a person outside of our life’s experience.
  • Odd Thoughts: There are times when everyone has said or thought something that both they and others find to be odd. Yet, most people do not experience the same odd thought throughout their lives. In cases like these, usually the people themselves are quite aware that they have a real problem with an odd thought. Often they are reluctant to admit it to themselves, let alone to others. Yet all that we think and feel comes from somewhere and at one time it “made sense”. If it does not come from the present, then it comes from past lives.
  • Recurring Nightmares: Everyone has had a nightmare from time to time: that is part of the experience of life. Most people do not experience the same nightmare for days, weeks, months, or even years at a time. If the recurring nightmare is the same, you should easily be able to remember all its’ details after many frightening replays. If the details show someone you know is you as being the opposite sex or dressed in “old” clothes or speaking some language you do not recognize or in a situation outside of your experience, it may be a past life memory that is begging to be remembered, healed, and resolved.

Black magic in India

We all have heard of this dark occult world of black magic that makes impossible things to happen, the weird pronouncing of mantras, and chanting of spells, invoking of spirits and forces of nature which coexists with us. But how many among us have really tried to delve into the depths of this obscure world to know exactly what it is? Few right…..? Yes in this edition we give you some highlight on the same and would brief you on the various kinds of Indian practices, taboos and rituals which are practices by these magic practitioners.

Meaning of Black Magic:

Black Magic is a kind of Negative Energy which enters the Human Body and disrupts the proper working system of Human Mind and Soul. As per the Indian Spirituality it is an external power that enters the human body and creates issues but both at the end admit the same stuff. It is known as Black Magic because this energy is transmitted to another person without the permission. Black Magic not only spoils the life of a person but also leaves a big impact on the life of a person who is involved in this activity. This is against the Indian Mythology and has not been supported but due to personal benefits and jealous feeling people do it and this is how they are more in pain.

Why would a person want to use black magic?

The motivation for using black magic is often malicious in nature, as the user is frequently driven by ill-will like a grudge, revenge, or resentment against another person.

What is the purpose of black magic?

The intention of black magic is to bring about a specific hardship upon the targeted person; examples of this would include poor health (e.g. disease, blindness), the loss of a relationship (e.g. a lover), financial or material poverty (e.g. bankruptcy), or demotion from a position of prestige (e.g. losing a job).

The magical practitioner who performs these magical spells is known as a ‘Tantrik’ in India.

Tantriks have the Evil Souls ready for them to work which are already controlled by them in a forceful manner. The Tantrik invites the Soul on a specific duration and later gives it some thing related to the human being on whom Black Magic has to be done. It may be piece of cloth that person wears, hair, teeth or any thing that is being in touch with the body of the victim. The Tantrik takes promise from the Evil Spirit that in any of the case it will not share details of Tantrik with any one and will do the task no matter what so ever happens. The Evil Soul then promises the Tantrik to do the activity and then whatever Tantrik says it has to do.It may be about making the victim Insane or even kill or may be make him seriously ill. Later on Soul confirms the same to the Tantrik and his work is over.

It is believed that whatsoever is done to the doll, any kind of inflictions which is made on this doll is also felt by the victim as well. The final intention of the Tantrik could be to even kill the person or to leave him injured or helpless.

Why is this practice called “black magic”?

Historically, black magic has been contrasted with so-called “white magic,” which is used when the user is motivated by good will in relation to the recipient of the spells, incantations, or other forms of magic. Some modern-day practitioners dislike the term “black magic”, preferring a different label because of the perceived negative connotations of the term “black” magic.

energy healing for spinal cord

Energy Healing For Spinal Cord Injury / Dysfunction & Nerves

Energy Healing is a popular alternative medicine healing tradition that has considerable relevance for individuals with physical disability, including spinal cord injury (SCI), multiple sclerosis (MS), and post polio syndrome.

A life-force energy called prana permeates all living things. Good health requires an ample and flowing supply of prana (also called as qi, chi, pronounced “chee”).

Depleted by the demands of daily living, prana is naturally replenished through breathing, eating, and closeness to nature; it is deliberately enhanced by energy healing. When prana shakti is consistently diminished, out of balance, or polluted, sickness ensues; its absence means death.

Unfortunately, in people with a physical disability, prana can stagnate and become unbalanced, increasing the likelihood of illness. Therefore, it is especially important for these individuals to stimulate qi flow.

It is a holistic, mind-body-spirit system of self-healing. Already one of the world’s most popular healing exercises in terms of total number of practitioners, Energy Healing is increasingly being embraced by health-conscious Westerners.

Although the true nature of energy healing can only be speculated, scientists have shown that energy healing practices can, indeed, generate a considerable amount of electromagnetic energy. I believe that the energy healing induces hormonal shifts, by influencing the subtle electromagnetic fields that surround humans. These fields, in turn, affect the brain’s all-important pituitary and pineal glands, which secrete key hormones that regulate the entire body. These master glands have been shown to be sensitive to electromagnetic field fluctuations.

Interestingly, a clustering of magnetic substances (called magnetite) have been found near these glands in an area corresponding to what is called the “Third Eye” in Eastern healing and spiritual traditions. These traditions believe that this “Eye” is one of the body’s most powerful energy centers – one that can be developed through energy healing practice.

Consistent with ancient healing traditions’ beliefs that Earth has a special, life-sustaining relationship with man, I feel that energy healing exerts a healing effect by facilitating synchrony with the Earth’s resonant, electromagnetic frequency. I believe that such synchrony helps mitigate modern society’s unhealthy, electromagnetic pollution (e.g., computer screens, high-power lines, cellular phones, etc.).

One cannot always expect a cure from energy healing, but one can always expect some healing,” defining a cure as a “measurable physiological change and healing as improved quality of life, happiness, and self-understanding.” With this perspective, although physiological changes may be modest, improvements to quality of life may be profound.

Spinal cord injury (herniated discs, pinched nerves, collapsed vertebrae) is one of the most devastating catastrophic injuries that one can endure. The spinal cord is the gateway for all nerve paths. The location of the injury and the severity of the damage determine the complications involved and the dysfunction. Science is discovering that the sooner the spinal cord injury is addressed and treatment begins, there is a direct correlation to recovery of the affected areas.

Failing to “see” the entire injured area can produce further injury, and create neglect in areas that need to be immediately addressed. It is best to look at each segment of the spine (discs and vertebrae) and spinal cord nerves in 4 equal quadrants. When helping to diagnose and evaluate the damaged area, reevaluating every 3 hours for the first 24 hours until the client is stabilized produces more accurate readings and beneficial results, as inflammation, further compression and damage can progress after the initial injury has occurred.

Although the initial site of the catastrophic injury is your primary source of dehabilitation, the damaged neural pathways can extend beyond that original area and days later create problems of their own. To counter this problem, “tracking” the energy of the affected neural pathways will give you further information of possible deterioration and additional side effects. If you do not have extending neural circumstances, containing the affected areas in a bubble of Healing energy will usually suspend further exacerbation of future problems.

While the allopathic physicians are providing their treatments, you can effectively use energy healing to complement and integrate with their procedures.

Removing pain is usually the first consideration, unless the client is rendered “numb” by his experience. Secondly, work on inflammation to help minimize current damage and to alleviate possible secondary symptoms and spinal surgery.

In my experience in healing the spinal cord nerves, vertebrae and herniated discs of a client in 90 days, it is best to work on each issue separately so as not to overload the client’s health response system during a time of great stress. Use energy healing to build a solid foundation step by step to rebuild the molecular structure of the cells and in turn the bodily systems. It is also best to work in increments and intermittently, so the molecular structures can recalibrate, and regenerate without stressing the physical structures.

First, regenerate the vertebrae’s cellular structure in order to provide a foundation that is capable of holding the disc. Secondly, reestablish the health of each disc, leaving the neural pathways as your last concern. Once the spine is stabilized, then revitalize the neural pathways. If you reactivate the nerves before you have a solid base in the spinal column, you might create more inflammation and pain than necessary. Rebuilding a system, inch by inch produces a stronger foundation that will allow the client to rebuild his muscular system with physical therapy without causing extra pain.

Although stem cell research is providing a gateway of hope for Spinal cord injuries, energy healing can and will be a beneficial healing modality.

Conclusion: Whether explained through ancient Eastern philosophies or modern Western psychoneuroimmunology mechanisms, energy healing enhances health. In spite of different origins, Eastern and Western medicine should complement each other. They are both part of a healing spectrum, in which each element provides valid, synergistic insights. Embracing energy healing or any other complementary therapy does not mean rejecting Western allopathic medicine but availing oneself of an expanded healing armamentarium.

Such integration can only benefit individuals with physical disabilities.

sleep paralysis

Psychic Attacks During Sleep |Sleep Paralysis|Loss of Energy

Psychic attack is when you come under the attack of negative energy or low level entities, this may be intentionally sent to you by another individual. By a jealous ex or a so called friend turned enemy (lets be honest, I hear about this almost every day from clients) neighbor, coworker or a jealous relative. Yes, even our relatives can become our worst enemies.

These things do happen, and more often than not, so it is of most importance to be aware of what symptoms these negative energy can create, below you will find just that, i recommend you keep an open mind and understand that these things do exist and have destroyed the lives of many individuals and have even driven people to an early grave via mental and psychic attack.

SLEEP PARALYSIS
For example as a root worker and healer I have heard from so many clients that they where under the impression that sleep paralysis was a normal occurrence, I disagree with that, I myself have experienced it first hand and other family members when we used to sleep in a particular room, and after I performed a spiritual cleansing in the room and also did a self cleansing it never happened again.

To my knowledge sleep paralysis happens when a dark entity tries to take possession of the victim while the person is asleep, because the body is relaxed and not fully conscious. Therefore there is little or no resistance at all to the possession.

I myself have experienced and witnessed from clients that have been attacked by these lower level entities. Some are easy to remove while others put up a fight to release the victim and sometimes require even an exorcism.

During the time we sleep, there are two types of attacks that we may experience, we mean attacks carried out by dishonest people in order to harm us even resort to all kinds of tricks and they are psychic attacks and spiritual attacks :

Psychic Attacks:

Attacks are carried out by means of negative-telepathy so that just as there is positive telepathy, through which two people can communicate with thought through telepathic waves. There is also the negative telepathy, which is something like the misuse that some people do telepathy, to cause harm to another, for example, if someone says bad words in order to offend, usually bothers us, then, when someone uses telepathy, but instead of trying to communicate with us, curse is, it happens that, although not listen , we feel bad and we sometimes ringing in the ears, but that’s not the only case, as there who use the properties of certain compounds to increase its telepathic waves even reach those techniques combined with the invocation of evil Beings, and this can prove to cause us from illness to an accident by a kind of suggestion transmitted telepathically. To this we must add that there are people who often resort to such practices during sleep, as it is then that we are more vulnerable to such attacks, attacks that may come to cause us nightmares, and often reach be used to cause us to change point of view or attitude toward someone or to a certain topic.

Spiritual Attacks:

It is when a person through certain rituals or practices, send a spirit to bother, so we must remember that under the laws of magic and psychic, a spirit alien to this world cannot enter or affect it, unless it is with the aid of a person in here, plus it takes a certain amount of subtle life energy, also known as ectoplasm. In order to obtain this type of energy is necessary for the operator (The dishonest person holding the ritual), the contribution of its own vital energy through certain rituals, or through other methods will not detail for obvious reasons.

Such attacks are generally accompanied by psychic attacks though people do not have the detailed knowledge of how these things work, that is, just follow certain formulas or recipes learned from empirical knowledge or that were contributed by certain Free Masons groups who frequently engaged in forming new sects and rites of witchcraft, among other things.

The discomfort usually from tinnitus, loss of energy, nightmares , phenomena like the call : “The evil on your back” until ectoplasmic images (which some parapsychologists often called telepathic hallucinations, although it is actually a more complex phenomenon than that), the damage usually starts during sleep and usually continue for the next day (Not necessarily to wake up but that can happen even several hours later) with headaches, toothaches, neglect, pessimism, until distractions in our work we sometimes make mistakes, and in extreme cases may even cause an accident. Some shamans often refer to this phenomenon by saying that his soul is not with him, which is not really the soul are not with the person as that would cause the death of the body, but is somewhat distracted because of a disturbance Psychic-Spiritual level.

Some of the dreams that we can say that something is happening in previous paragraphs that is for example:

  • To dream that someone says he wants to share our body.

Shaman’s Work With Soul-Loss

For thousands of years shamans have known that one of the major causes of illness and other forms of imbalance in our world is soul-loss. A shaman is a member of the community who is able to change his or her state of consciousness and thereby come into contact with another reality, which he often refers to as the world of the spirits. The shaman knows the spirit world and how to move there. The shaman goes there seeking help and advise from his spirit helpers and teachers, both for himself and others in the community. Sometimes the shaman goes there to seek for a lost soul. If he/she finds it, he/she brings it back home, reuniting it with its physical body. This work is called soul retrieval.

What Is Soul?
We are all born with the power we need for our lives. Some of this power is in the form of soul. While we are all brought up with the concept of “soul”, many people are in doubt as to what soul is, or even if it really does exist. I generally think of soul as being our life spark, our essence, our life energy. From the animistic experience of the universe, all things have a soul, and by definition are alive. The shaman is aware of this, and, by altering his/her state of consciousness, is able to come into contact with these soul essences. By communicating with these spirits, the shaman can learn many things, and perhaps even ask them for help in healing.

Most traditional peoples are aware that animals, including humans, have at least two souls. One of these souls is the fixed soul, the soul that belongs to the physical body and takes care of the normal body functions, for example growing, breathing, digestion, heartbeat and the circulation of blood, reproduction, and all of our natural bodily cycles. The second soul is often referred to as the free soul, or spirit, that which feels and has emotions, that which leaves the body during a shamanic soul-flight.

What Is Soul-Loss?
Soul-loss is when some of this vital, free-soul essence leaves our body, thereby depriving us of our full power. Soul-loss can be seen as a built-in adaptive/ survival mechanism. Many wild animals, for example foxes and wolves, are known to chew off their own leg in order to escape from a trap . The human psyche (Greek for soul) will do the same. If life is too difficult, the part of the soul which is most affected will leave us. The main organism will survive, while the lost part drifts off. If we are lucky, it will quickly return. If not, we may never see it again. This is soul-loss.

How Does Soul Loss Happen?
It has been my experience in working with people that in most cases soul-loss occurs because we give our souls away. As stated before, each of us are born with the amount of power we need to live, but, in the process of growing up, of being socialized, something happens. We are taught. We are taught how to “fit-in”, and our teachers, be they our parents and family, or school teachers, or playmates, or even the family dog or cat, all show us how the world is put together – in the way that they see it. Some of them try to teach us well, taking into account as much as possible who we already are. Others of them try merely to form us or control us after their own wishes. At a very early age we learn that if we respond to our environment in certain ways we will most likely obtain certain results, both positive and negative. In many cases, this leads to healthy patterns of personal interaction and development, if those who raise us are well-balanced, aware individuals. However, in other cases, the desire to please others can often lead us to be untrue to ourselves.

Already in early childhood many children start to give over their power to their parents who have forgotten or never heard Kahlil Gibran’s words: “Your children are not your children.” If the parents are not well balanced, or if they have deep troubles of their own, it is often up to the child at an early age to attempt to achieve balance in the home. Sometimes this is impossible to begin with, and, sometimes, to be the way we think others want us to be, it means that we cannot be ourselves. If these conditions persist, that part of our soul which is ignored, or deprived, will leave. This is soul-loss. In school the desire to be accepted by our classmates will often cause us to do things which may not natural for us to do, for example, ganging up on the “different” one. This desire to be accepted all too often turns to fear of being left out. And later in life, to keep a lover or friend we ignore ourselves and our feelings in an attempt to keep the relationship in tact, because we have learned that being true to ourselves threatens the relationship. We suffer in silence, and by doing so we throw water on our own fire. What then happens to the heat? This, too, is soul loss.

I once worked with a woman whose father had died when she was a young girl. Such a situation in itself often leads to soul-loss, but in this case the problem was further complicated by the mother’s deep grief and resultant alcoholism. The daughter, in an effort to restore as much as possible the former secure family situation, tried in her own childish way to fill her father’s shoes. Though she herself was also heartbroken, she was never able to express it for fear that her mother would totally fall apart, taking with her what little family structure there was left. This developed into a behavior pattern as an adult in which she was always helping other people, while ignoring her own needs, what psychologists today call co-dependant behavior. The shaman calls it soul-loss.

Saying Good-bye to the Soul
Soul-loss often happens in a vain attempt to maintain contact with someone who is leaving or has left us, for example when someone close to us dies. We hear stories of people who cast themselves into the open grave of a loved one at the funeral, that they, too, may go. And they often do, as a part of their soul leaves with the dead one. This was the case of one person I worked with who as a teenager put her picture in her dead father’s pocket as he lay in the coffin at the wake, so that she could be with him always.

We have all experienced the sadness of parting, leaving someone we love dearly, knowing that perhaps we would never see them again. In an effort to ease the pain we say: “A part of me will always be with you.” And we mean it. We give that loved one a piece of our soul. But the sad part of it is that the object of your love can’t use your soul. Indeed, it may add to her pain or even cause illness. And you are left with less power to handle the pain of parting, and many other situations to come after as well. Although heart transplants may work, soul transplants do not. A much wiser, and more loving, form of parting is to give back any pieces soul you may have collected from each other, thus, by saying good-bye to the other you say hello to yourself.

Traumatic Soul-Loss
Soul-loss can also occur due to traumatic experiences, for example accidents (both witnessed and experienced), surgery, or physical and emotional abuse, incest, or intense pain. Violence in the home is also a major cause of soul loss, as are extended periods of anxiety. Many people have had out of body experiences, especially during traumatic experiences. The reason these are remembered is because the soul comes back. If the soul doesn’t come back, there is no acute memory of the pain, only the dull knowledge that the incident happened, if any memory at all.

Although many actions taken by one person can lead to soul-loss in another, the purposeful taking of another’s soul is rare, though common enough. These acts are generally undertaken by people whose own soul is so damaged and depleted that the only way they know to get power is by taking it from someone else. These people often die at a young age, but generally not before they have caused great damage to others.

Casualties of War
Warfare is probably the single greatest cause for soul-loss on a global scale. Everyone loses. The civilians caught in the crossfire, their families and loved ones, to say nothing of the soldiers themselves, and their loved ones. Even the “victorious” soldiers returning home from war often have extreme difficulty in adjusting to civilian life again, and frequently try to fill up the hole in their soul with drugs and alcohol, sometimes turning again to violent behavior in their frustration.

It is interesting to note that the Navajo have a special ceremony, The Enemy Way, for the returning warrior. It is designed to cleanse him of his experiences and reunite his spirit with his body so that he may come into balance and take his place in the community once more.

There are many other reasons for soul-loss. Very often there are well known standard phrases in our language which indicate this as well, for example, with the death of a loved one (“When my husband died, I felt that part of myself went with him.”), an accident (“I was scared to death”), a failed project (“I put my soul into this work”), physical or psychic abuse of any kind (“My spirit was broken”), divorce, or the end of an important relationship (“She stole my soul”). Even a violent argument can lead to soul-loss (“I was beside myself with rage”). Indeed, our lives today at the end of the twentieth century in overcrowded cities with incompetent politicians and seemingly uncaring bureaucrats, runaway technology, and global pollution seem rife with possibilities for either receiving soul-loss or inflicting it.

Surviving and Adapting
Mending the Fragmented Self, soul-loss is generally a matter of surviving and/or adapting. We all have our limits as to how much we can take. But what happens when we reach our limits, when we can’t back any further into the corner? Then it is time for action. But sometimes it just doesn’t seem possible to take the appropriate action. We don’t have the power. “If I try to do something, he/she’ll leave me. Then where will I be?” Or, “If I say anything, I’ll get fired! Then what?” When this is the case, that part of the soul which reacts most heavily to the situation knows it is time to leave for some place safe, and does so, both for it’s own survival and for the survival of the organism as a whole.

Symptoms of Soul-Loss
The most extreme and dramatic form of soul-loss is coma. Otherwise, symptoms of soul-loss may or may not be immediately apparent. The first symptoms are often a felt loss of connection with one surroundings. Soon it becomes a felt loss of connection with oneself, a loss of being in touch with the body, a feeling of being empty, feeling numb, or not feeling anything, but seeing life go by as if it were a film starring someone else.

Very often when people come to me for the first time they express it quite clearly. “I don’t know what the matter is, but I feel as though I’ve lost touch with myself.” If they have, it is a very serious matter, because it often means that they have also lost touch with their own internal back-up system, their hopes and dreams, their beliefs, their self confidence, and their own code of ethics. People who suffer from soul-loss often have a difficult time being honest with themselves, blaming other people where the solution to the issues in their lives often lies with their own actions. Lack of grounding is often a clear indication of soul-loss.

Another important symptom is memory loss. A woman once said to me, “The only thing I remember about the last two years of my marriage is signing the separation papers.” Repetitive negative behavior patterns, for example becoming evolved with the same type of partner with disastrous results, time and time again, often points at severe soul loss. People who suffer from soul loss often are attracted to powerful people in hopes that some of the power will rub off and fill the hole, instead of seeking to regain their own power. It is also a normal reaction for people who are suffering severe soul-loss to try to fill the empty space by taking soul from others. This often happens under the guise of repeatedly falling in love in an attempt to find a new life, or at least new energy to continue with the old life. The inability to find joy in life is a major clue to soul-loss.

People who always have a reason for not being able to do the things they want to do, whose way is blocked, who feel fear instead of love – these people could easily be suffering from soul loss. People with soul loss are often looking for substitutes for life. Be it career, drugs, internet, sex, role-play, or alcohol, addictions are often used in an attempt to fill the gap left by the departed soul. Constantly seeking the quick fix is another hallmark of soul loss, as is, of course, the opposite: total apathy. As we all have seen, if not from our own lives then from the lives of others we know, these patterns of behavior almost never help the situation in the long run, and generally make matters worse.

Shamanic Soul Retrieval
Although all of the symptoms described above sound like normal fare for the psychologist or psychotherapist, shaman’s have been taking on cases like this in other cultures for generations, and are beginning to do so again in our society. The shaman’s way of working, however, is quite different than the modern therapist’s. The shaman does not try to use his own knowledge, abilities, cleverness or power to help his client. The shaman relies on her spirit helpers and guides to bring the power (energy) to do the work, and to bring his/her into contact with the client’s own spirit power (soul) in order that it may be brought back home to the client’s body. This means that the shaman must know his/her way around the land of the spirits, and that she has a powerful and clear working relationship with his/her spirit contacts there. This comes through having experience and trust. Once he/she has contacted his/her spirit helpers, the shaman explains his/her mission, and then follows directions. Finally, if all goes well, the shaman finds the lost soul essence and is able to bring it back, whereupon the soul is returned to its proper home.

While this may sound very simple, in fact it is not, and there are many pitfalls. One of the most important things for the shaman to remember is to follow the instructions of the spirits. A classic case of shamanic soul retrieval which failed because of instructions not being followed is the story of Orpheus and Euridice. Interestingly enough, the very same story, almost to the smallest details, was well known amongst many native American groups before the arrival of European culture.

Sometimes the events of a journey may be confusing for the one doing the shamanic work. I once did a soul retrieval for a client in Australia. One of his complaints was extreme memory loss from his childhood. All of his knowledge of that time of his life came from other people. On my journey for him, my spirits took me to a house that was burning. They took me into a room where there was a small boy, trapped by the flames. After we finally got him outside, it was clear that he wanted to show us something, and we followed him to the top of a nearby burial mound. Then my spirits said that I should take this child-soul back home to my client. I did this, even though I had no clear idea about what was going on.

As I told my experiences, my client was clearly amazed. “When I was a boy, I didn’t really like being in the home. I had a favorite place where I used to play, and that was an old burial mound from the stone age on my father’s land. I was always going up there. Then, when I was about six, my mother accidentally set the house on fire. I was rescued in the last minute.” After the soul retrieval he made a pilgrimage to his childhood home. Other people were living there, but it was the burial mound he went to, and standing there he felt complete, with his feet well planted on the Earth. And he began to remember.

Some years ago, a woman who had been on an introductory course with me called to ask if I would do a soul retrieval for her. I replied that I would try. When she came for the appointment, we had a long talk. It turned out that even though she was a mature woman she still had a difficult relationship with her mother, and was sure that her mother had taken some of her soul. When I made my journey to the world of the spirits, I was sent out to what is sometimes referred to as The Void, which could be described as a black hole in the universe of the Spirit World. I found her there, floating in a dream-like state. Aiding my spirit helpers, we brought her to consciousness. She seemed much younger, around twenty, and she seemed very satisfied to be where she was, and had no desire to return. “No one hurts me here,” she said. Through talking with this spirit I found out that my client had fallen in love and quickly married at a young age in order to escape home, but it had been out of the pan and into the fire, and her rescuer soon had her in another prison. To survive, an important part of her soul left her. Eventually, I was able to convince this young spirit to return to its middle-aged body.

In talking with the woman about this afterwards, she was surprised. “How could you know about that? Yes, it was a disaster, but I thought I’d gotten over that years ago. But it did change my life. I’ve never had a lasting relationship since then. I’ve always blamed it on my mother’s pestering.” My spirit helpers had told me that she should have two more soul retrievals done, and we did them over the following month. It turned out that her mother did have a piece of her soul, and she had a piece of her mother’s which were exchanged. The last piece I found in the non-ordinary reality of the middle-world on the street where she lived, looking for her home.

There were several lessons here for me. The first was that one doesn’t always find what one is looking for, but sometimes something else entirely. Often people will want a certain spirit essence returned. Soul retrieval is not commission work. The spirits decide. Sometimes I have felt that the person coming to me badly needed a soul retrieval, but my teachers in the spirit world made it clear that the time wasn’t right, that other work needed to be done first. Another lesson was that it sometimes happens that someone who comes to have a soul retrieval done is carrying around spirit parts of someone else. This is useless baggage which has to be removed – and returned! Finally, people who are on the mend, for example after the first or second soul retrieval, or some other successful spiritual work, often start to live their lives in a more aware way. The results of this are that their spirit starts to “call home” the rest of the missing soul power.

Asking for Help
Often when people hear about soul retrieval it immediately rings a bell. Almost as often they ask, “Can I do it myself?” I feel this attitude reflects one of the major illness of our time – the illusion that we, as individuals, exist in a vacuum, independent of the rest of the community, the rest of the world, and the rest of the universe. It is this attitude which in the end cuts down rain forests for capital gain without thinking about ecological debt. The shaman works by asking for help. The person suffering from soul-loss must also ask for help.

While it is possible to have a spontaneous soul retrieval, for example in a dream or on a shamanic journey, it seems difficult in most cases to purposefully do a soul retrieval for oneself, perhaps because what we call the ego so eagerly gets in the way. One client came to me complaining of fearfulness and an unnatural timidity. She was sure that she experienced soul loss after an recent automobile accident. When I journeyed to the site, I found her sitting in the tree her car had smashed into, swinging her legs. Her spirit complained that her host had been reckless, and was in the habit of taking unnecessary risks, and refused to come back. However, by promising on my client’s behalf that changes would be made, I was able to get the soul to return.

Care and Treatment of the Returned Soul
The most surprising aspect of soul retrieval is how powerfully it works. In most cases, the returning soul brings with it the power of the situation which caused it to leave, and this power must be welcomed home. This means that the client is forced to deal with those issues after the soul retrieval, and it is important to tell people this before they have the work done. For this reason it is also important to find out if the person coming for help has a support system, be it friends, family, or a therapist. If he doesn’t, then perhaps some other form of treatment is advisable.

I once did a soul retrieval for a client of a therapist I know. The woman and her sister had been victims of incest over a six year period from when she was eight to fourteen years old. Finally, she told her mother. Eventually it had gone to court, and the step-father had been found guilty. Both the therapist and the woman felt that they had gotten stuck in their work, and both felt that it was necessary to go deeper. The therapist suggested soul retrieval. I was able to bring back this woman’s eight year old soul captured by her step-father, the vital innocent essence she had lost at his first intrusions. The therapist later told me, ” It seemed as though we had to start from the beginning. Even though she had been over it a thousand times before, the depth of actually experiencing it all over again with the awareness of the eight year-old self was more than agonizing at times. It was hard, but it was worth it, and the work went much faster because of the eight year old’s power.”

Fortunately, most of the people who come to me for help do not have such terrible stories to tell, but I am constantly amazed by what people can survive. Sadly, the way they have survived is through soul-loss, and surviving is not the same as living fully. To live fully, we must be whole, that is, to have all of our soul. To make sure that the returned soul stays, it is important that it is made welcome, and that the issues which arise as a result are dealt with in a positive way. To this end, it is helpful if the receiver of the soul retrieval is able to make a shamanic journey to the returned soul, so that they can get to know each other. If this is not possible, then it may be up to the shamanic practitioner, or a psychotherapist with knowledge of shamanism, to help with the reintegration.

Teachings of the Soul
One of the major teachings many people mention to me after soul retrieval is what a valuable gift life is, no matter how difficult. They no longer feel that they have to indulge in substitutes for living. One woman half-jokingly told me, “It’s really terrible! I have a much harder time lying to myself. I’m afraid she’ll leave me again if I do.” Many find that their returned selves will not suffer the abuse that they were subjected to before, and that they subjected themselves to before. Suddenly people, find the strength to start to look at their lives realistically, and to start to make the changes needed so that they can actually enjoy themselves.

Another important teaching I’ve often observed is what I’d call “the step beyond forgiveness.” The realization that the thing which caused so much pain, perhaps for years, no longer matters. Most importantly, people start to see how the things they do fit together and are connected with not only their immediate surroundings, but with the rest of the Universe as well.

Soul retrieval, despite its power, is not a quick fix. Nor is it the automatic answer for all problems, and many of the symptoms of soul-loss could also be symptoms of something else. Perhaps the central idea of shamanic soul retrieval is to put people back into touch with their spirit power, and by doing so put them back in touch with the power of the Universe. Just because this happens does not mean that you will have a trouble-free life. What it does mean is that you will be equipped to face what comes your way. Recently, one man told me a month after his soul retrieval, “I feel that I’m here for a reason. I don’t know what it is, and maybe I’ll never find out. But I’m no longer afraid of trying to find out.”

Mystery of Past Life Recall |Cases of Reincarnation | India|

Under hypnosis, numerous people recall the details of previous lives, even to the point of taking on the personalities of their former selves – and speaking in foreign languages!

In 1824, a nine-year-old boy named Katsugoro, the son of a Japanese farmer, told his sister that he believed he had a past life. According to his story, which is one of the earliest cases of past life recall on record, the boy vividly recalled that he had been the son of another farmer in another village and had died from the effects of smallpox in 1810.

Katsugoro could remember dozens of specific events about his past life, including details about his family and the village where they lived, even though Katsugoro had never been there. He even remembered the time of his death, his burial and the time he spent before being reborn. The facts he related were subsequently verified by an investigation.

Past life recall is one of the most fascinating areas of unexplained human phenomena. As yet, science has been unable to prove or disprove its genuineness. Even many who have investigated claims of past life recall are unsure whether it is an historical recollection due to reincarnation or is a construction of information somehow received by the subconscious. Either possibility is remarkable. And like many areas of the paranormal, there is a propensity for fraud that the serious investigator must watch out for. It’s important to be skeptical about such extraordinary claims, but the stories are nonetheless intriguing.

Past life recall generally comes about spontaneously, more often with children than adults.

Those who support the idea of reincarnation believe this is because children are closer to their past lives and that their minds have not been clouded or “written over” by their present lives. Adults who experience past life recall often do so as the result of some extraordinary experience, such as hypnosis, lucid dreaming or even a blow to the head.

Here are some outstanding cases:

  • VIRGINIA TIGHE / BRIDEY MURPHY

Perhaps the most famous case of past life recall is that of Virginia Tighe who recalled her past life as Bridey Murphy. Virginia was the wife of a Virginia businessman in Pueblo, Colorado. While under hypnosis in 1952, she told Morey Bernstein, her therapist, that over 100 years ago she was an Irish woman named Bridget Murphy who went by the nickname of Bridey. During their sessions together, Bernstein marveled at detailed conversations with Bridey, who spoke with a pronounced Irish brogue and spoke extensively of her life in 19th century Ireland. When Bernstein published his book about the case, The Search for Bridey Murphy in 1956, it became famous around the world and sparked an excited interest in the possibility of reincarnation.

Over six sessions, Virginia revealed many details about Bridey’s life, including her birth date in 1798, her childhood amid a Protestant family in the city of Cork, her marriage to Sean Brian Joseph McCarthy and even her own death at the age of 60 in 1858. As Bridey, she provided numerous specifics, such as names, dates, places, events, shops and songs – things Virginia was always surprised about when she awoke from the hypnosis. But could these details be verified? The results of many investigations were mixed. Much of what Bridey said was consistent with the time and place, and it seemed inconceivable that someone who had never been to Ireland could provide so many details with such confidence.

However, journalists could find no historical record of Bridey Murphy – not her birth, her family, her marriage, nor her death. Believers supposed that this was merely due to the poor recordkeeping of the time. But critics discovered inconsistencies in Bridey’s speech and also learned that Virginia had grown up near – and had known well – an Irish woman named Bridle Corkell, and that she was quite likely the inspiration for “Bridey Murphy.” There are flaws with this theory, too, however, keeping the case of Bridey Murphy an intriguing mystery.

  • MONICA / JOHN WAINWRIGHT

In 1986, a woman known by the pseudonym “Monica” underwent hypnosis by psychotherapist Dr. Garrett Oppenheim. Monica believed she discovered a previous existence as a man named John Ralph Wainwright who lived in the southwestern U.S. She knew that John grew up in Wisconsin, Arizona and had vague memories of brothers and sisters. As a young man he became a deputy sheriff and married the daughter of a bank president. According the Monica’s “memory,” John was killed in the line of duty – shot by three men he had once sent to jail – and died on July 7, 1907

  • SUJITH / SAMMY

Born in Sri Lanka (formerly Ceylon), Sujith was barely old enough to speak when he began to tell his family of a previous life as a man named Sammy. Sammy, he said, had lived eight miles to the south in the village of Gorakana. Sujith told of Sammy’s life as a railroad worker and as a dealer of a bootleg whiskey called arrack. After an argument with his wife, Maggie, Sammy stormed out of his house and got drunk, and while walking along a busy highway was struck by a truck and killed.

Young Sujith often demanded to be taken to Gorakana and had an abnormal taste for cigarettes and arrack.

Sjuth’s family had never been to Gorakana and hadn’t known anyone that fit Sammy’s description, yet, being Buddhists, were believers in reincarnation and therefore not completely surprised by the boy’s story.

Investigations, including one conducted by a professor of psychiatry from the University of Virginia, confirmed as many as 60 of the details of the life of Sammy Fernando who indeed had lived and died (six months before Sujith’s birth) just as Sujith had said. When Sujith was introduced to Sammy’s family, he surprised them with his familiarity with them and his knowledge of their pet names. This is one of the strongest cases of reincarnation on record.

  • DREAM RECALL

Hypnosis isn’t the only method by which past lives are recalled. A Britsh woman was distressed by a recurring dream in which she, as a child, and another child with whom she was playing, fell from a high gallery in their home to their deaths.

She vividly remembered the black and white checked marble floor on which they died. She repeated the dream to several of her friends. Sometime later, the woman was visiting an old house that had a reputation for being haunted. With its black and white marble floor, the house immediately was recognized by the woman as the scene of the deaths in her dreams.

She subsequently learned that a small brother and sister really had fallen to their deaths in the house. Was she recalling a past life, or had she somehow psychically tuned in to this dramatic history?

  • GRAHAM HUXTABLE / ARNALL BLOXHAM

Another fascinating case of past life regression took place in Wales where Graham Huxtable, a mild-mannered swimming instructor, was placed under hypnosis by hypnotist Arnall Bloxham. In a trance, Huxtable not just recalled a past life, he seemed to actually become a man named Ben, a boisterous gunner on an 18th century British frigate called Aggie. While inhabited by the personality of Ben, Huxtable would call out orders to the men on the ship in a heavy accent and use obscure nautical terminology. He even relived every moment of a battle in which he eventually suffered an injury to his leg.

Bloxham had difficulty bringing Huxtable out of trance, but when he did, the man complained of a pain in his leg. And when Bloxham replayed a recording of the session, Huxtable was astonished at what he heard, recalling nothing of his experience under the trance. Although experts could verify the terms and language that “Ben” used, they could not find records of a ship named Aggie nor of the ship’s captain he had named. Past life recall… or a case of multiple personality?

  • T.E. / JENSEN JACOBY

In 1958, a woman who in this case was identified only as T.E., underwent hypnosis by her husband, a medical doctor and experimenter with past life regression. Once in a trance state, T.E.’s voice deepened to one that was distinctly male and she declared in broken English that she was a farmer named Jensen Jacoby who lived in the 17th century. T.E.’s speech was peppered with Swedish words, a language that she and her husband swore she did not know. After six hypnotic sessions, T.E. was talking exclusively in Swedish, even conversing fluently with several Swedish persons that her husband had brought in to witness the phenomenon. These native Swedes confirmed that she was speaking a somewhat archaic form of Swedish that would have been spoken at the time Jensen said he had lived.

These are just a few of the more well-known examples of past life recall. Those who practice past life regression therapy today claim that it has certain benefits. They say it can shed light on present life personal issues and relationships and can even help to heal the wounds suffered in a past life.

Reincarnation has also been one of the central tenets of many Eastern religions, and one can return to this existence in a new physical form, whether it is human, animal or even vegetable. The form one takes, it is believed, is determined by the law of karma – that the higher or lower form one takes is due to one’s behavior in the previous life. The concept of past lives is also one of the beliefs of L. Ron Hubbard’s Scientology, which states that “past lives are suppressed by the painfulness of the memory of those former existences. To restore the memory of one’s whole existence, it is necessary to bring one up to being able to confront such experiences.”

FAMOUS BELIEVERS IN PAST LIVES

  • General George S. Patton believed that he had been a soldier in many previous lives, including in the service of Alexander the Great.
  • Benjamin Franklin may have been professing his belief in reincarnation when he wrote that he would return “in a new and more elegant edition, revised and corrected by the author.”
  • Thomas Edison and Henry Ford were contemporaries and both professed believers in past lives.
  • Edgar Cayce, the American psychic, believed that he was a resident of Atlantis in one previous life.

Alcohol & Drug Affects Our Aura – Marijuana,Cannabis,Cocaine

People who are taking drugs or alcohol can get into inspiring yet also vulnerable states – emotionally, physically, energetically and spiritually. How come? Here an overview of the effects of alcohol on the physical and subtle bodies of an individual. The influence on soul level is usually the least discussed facet of alcohol consumption.

Alcohol & Body Chemistry

Alcohol directly affects brain chemistry by altering levels of neurotransmitters, which are the chemical messengers and communicators that transmit signals throughout the body that control thought processes, behaviour and emotions.

Alcohol affects both “excitatory” neurotransmitters and “inhibitory” neurotransmitters: it suppresses the excitatory neurotransmitter glutamate and increases the inhibitory neurotransmitter GABA. What this means for you is that your thought, speech and movements are slowed down, and the more you drink, the more of these effects you’ll feel. Hence the stumbling around, falling over chairs and other clumsy things drunk people do.

BUT alcohol also increases the release of dopamine in your brain’s reward circuitry, the brain areas that are affected by virtually all stimulating, exciting activities. By jacking up dopamine levels in your brain, alcohol tricks you into thinking that it’s actually making you feel great or maybe just better (if you are drinking to get over something emotionally difficult). The effect is that you keep drinking to get more dopamine release, but at the same time you’re altering other brain chemicals that are enhancing feelings of depression. Over time, with more drinking, the dopamine effect diminishes until it’s almost nonexistent. But at this stage, a drinker is often “hooked” on the feeling of dopamine release in the reward center, even though they’re no longer getting it. Once a compulsive need to go back again and again for that release is established, addiction takes hold.

Alcohol abuse over a long period causes chronic intoxication. Nervous tremors develop, the memory fails, also acute gastritis, liver cirrhosis, optic neuritis, heart and kidney diseases are likely to occur, while other symptoms are similar to those of acute intoxication.

Longterm effects of drinking alcohol can not only damage the brain but also the stomach, heart, kidneys, liver, muscles and joints. For example: the liver breaks down alcohol – and the toxins it releases. The alcohol’s byproducts can damage liver cells. These damaged liver cells then no longer function as well as they should and allow too much of toxic substances, ammonia and manganese in particular, to travel to the brain. These substances proceed to damage brain cells, and can cause a serious and potentially fatal brain disorder.

Alcohol & Driving

An estimated 32% of fatal car crashes involve an intoxicated driver or pedestrian. Drinking alcohol and driving simply do not go well together. The human brain has to deal with many things and process countless data all the time. Alcohol affects attentiveness and one’s ability to make quick decisions on the road, react to changes in the environment and execute specific maneuvers behind the wheel. After drinking alcohol, driving becomes dangerous, and potentially lethal.

Alcohol affects everybody’s driving for the worse. It creates a feeling of overconfidence, makes judging distance and speed more difficult and slows your reactions so it takes longer to stop. “I’m only going down the road.” doesn’t work either: a large proportion of all drink drive crashes occur within three miles of the start of the journey.

In the region of the cerebral cortex, where thought processing is centered, alcohol depresses the behavioural inhibitory centers, making the person less inhibited. It slows down the processing of information from ALL senses, inhibits the thought processes and makes it difficult to think clearly.

The same goes for drug consumption. Reaction and decision times are slowed down, over-confidence, altered perception and judgment of risks often lead to perform higher risks. As a consequence, in March 2015 the drug driving law in the United Kingdom changed. It is now an offence to drive with certain drugs above a specified level in your blood – just as it is with drink driving (seventeen legal and illegal drugs are covered by the law, including cannabis, cocaine, ecstasy and ketamine).

Alcohol & Sex

The hypothalamus and pituitary gland coordinate automatic brain functions and hormone release. Alcohol depresses nerve centers in the hypothalamus that control sexual arousal and performance. Although sexual urge may increase, sexual performance decreases.

Is Wine safe?

Alcohol in the form of medical wine has been used in China for more than 5000 years and its use and infusions were recorded in prescriptions 2000 years ago, in the first texts of traditional Chinese medicine. In TCM alcohol is generally characterised as sweet-bitter and hot, also toxic. Wine though, if drunk in small amounts, stimulates blood circulation and opens the vessels to relieve pain, it vitalizes the blood, drives out “wind” and dispels “cold” symptoms, transports medicaments and disperses bad influences. A lot of wine, however adds dampness and heat to the body, and can contribute to a range of problems.

In any case, wine more than other forms of alcohol seems to have added perks, if consumed in moderation. Some argue the polyphenols in wine can ward off bacterial infection and particularly red wine has long been thought of as having a positive influence on heart health. Resveratrol is a substance in red wine that is known to prevent damage to blood vessels (artery damage) and to stimulate the production of antioxidants like Glutathione (GSH) and Superoxide dismutase (SOD).

Who is the Producer?

In this context another important point: Where is the bottle actually coming from? Please do not to underestimate the importance of the quality and standards of the wine producer. Not only the type of grapes, techniques etc. but also the attitude and energy of the people involved in the production process have an effect on the final product, hence the consumer.

Russian scientist, healer and author S.N. Lazarev describes very well in one of his books (Karma Diagnostics), how he could see the energetic profile of a wine by checking its vinyard and producers, just by tapping consciously into their energy field with his psychic abilities. (He also checked the vibration of a large painting owned by one of his friends and recommended strongly to take the picture off the wall as the artist’s energy field had a massive destructive influence which came through the painting. You might take this as a recommendation for double-checking what you have on your walls!)

I did my own experiments and started scanning wine energetically. In fact years ago during my training in Energy Healing I scanned, cleared and hightened the energy field of all sorts of foods or drinks, and noted fascinating results. Whatever you consume, ensure it’s of best possible quality

Alcohol & the Soul

Now we come to the potential energetic and spiritual repercussions of alcohol consumption. Given our multidimensional anatomy (physical, energetic, mental, emotional, astral and subtle bodies), there are corresponding multidimensional effects. Probably the least discussed and known aspects of alcohol consumption.

1) Energy vibrations gets lowered:
The change of your biochemistry has an effect on your whole energy field (aura). You perceive that alcohol relaxes the body and the rational mind, and energy seems to flow better. But in reality the vibration of your energy field gets destabilised and lowered. And quite quickly thoughts and body movements become less cohesive. Rajas and Tamas increase while Sattva reduces – effecting all your chakras, dis-aligning your subtle bodies and cracking your aura. After an initial energy push / rajastic rush (activity, excitement etc), the tamasic energies set in (drowsiness, lethargy, irritability, anger etc). Destructive emotions rise, further weakening your energy field and protective shield.

2) Existing personality defects increase:
Your might have noticed that some people become quite aggressive after they’ve had a few drinks, while others might become tearful and melancholical. As alcohol weakens the faculty of your critical mind, the voices from your subconscious mind grow louder. This may mean voices of your hidden creative capacity come up but most likely it means unresolved conflicts, which increase your emotionality, and vulnerability.

3) Ancestral imprints get activated:
From your subconscious mind and morphogenetic field also your ancestral habits can be awakened or triggered, increasing your inherited addictive tendencies and reducing your ability to disentangle from the desire of drinking (family pattern of diseases and addictions). Unconscious, and often destructive, loyalties within families – well illuminated for example in the therapeutic process of Family Constellation Work – can be dissolved through a healing practice that involves higher states of consciousness and your multidimensional energetic anatomy.

4) Energy attachments block your sovereignity:
When we are emotionally unbalanced, traumatised, depressed, angry, sad or anxious, our aura is weakened or breaks. And this is when disembodied souls and soul-parts can hook onto a human energy field (aura), to live through the human and feed off their energies. The implications are manifold. Disembodied or earthbound souls (also called spirits or discarnates) are souls of dead people who left the physical body, but were spiritually not liberated and are stuck on earthly planes.

When a person has a liking for alcohol, this very liking is often taken advantage of by a disembodied soul – a randomly picked up discarnate or a departed ancestor with a penchant for alcohol. Once attached to a person, it further increases that person’s desire for alcohol. Violent behaviour displayed under the influence of alcohol is mostly due to a negative energy attachment – a spirit or entity that took advantage of an individual and increases his/her already existing personality defect of violence or depression.

Drugs for Enlightenment?

Let’s talk about drugs. The recreational type and the pharmaceutical variety. I am referring to all drugs including alcohol in excess, that give you the feeling of being high. These substances cause holes and tears in your aura.

When we consume something that gets us high, our soul energy literally rises. Our aura begins to quickly expand, trying to harness the escaping energy.

Our aura is a protection field. To willingly allow any substance in our bodies that could create an unwanted opening is not what you want to happen.

Holes or tears invite negative energies to sneak in and invade. You never want to purposefully attract lower vibrational energies to enter your aura. This weakens us and could have repercussions one should not choose. Just because you cannot see the energy field does not mean that it does not exist and that something is not happening.

Some people use drugs as a path to enlightenment (in the sense of higher awareness, insights on universal wisdom, creativity, compassion and joy) or in rituals as a form of healing (or rather as a way to gain an understanding that potentially leads to healing).

No matter whether natural (Peyote, Cannabis, Ayahuasca) or synthetic drugs are taken, an artificially induced state of bliss, oneness and awareness can be wonderful and inspiring, yes. BUT it is also clear that an artificially triggered higher state of consciousness and vibration cannot be sustained without that substance. Inevitably there will be a return into the valley after those peak experience. Drugs give just momentary lifts into happiness and truth realisation. Whoever takes drugs will land back in and pick up from exactly the emotional, mental, vibrational state from where s/he started off from. Bliss might have been experienced with the help of some drug, but fact is that the actual body has not been prepared adequately to have the capacity to hold such high frequency permanently and naturally by itself (nervous system, pituatary and pineal gland connection etc).

What remains? What do you do with a lighthouse moment of bliss and delight? I’d say, a) take the insights you’ve gained and integrate them consciously in your behaviour and life, and B) take it as orientation point and motivation to clear and purify your system through regular spiritual practice and healing in order to be able to reach these states of higher consciousness naturally and “alone”, independent of any external helpers.

Drugs can cause devastation in the body, and of course there is also the risk of addiction, and auric attachments. Don’t just go for higher awareness, go for pristine awareness.

Don’t just go for higher awareness, go for pristine awareness

Effects of Marijuana on the Aura

Many people are under the assumption that marijuana usage is a method for expanding spirituality. Our emotional awareness has developed in the evolutionary process, not by recreational substance use. If you think that becoming dependent on any substance while believing that you’re only better at achieving an elevated state of consciousness with this substance then you’re missing the point of ascension.

Quite honestly you do not need pot to be spiritual, but if you want to smoke it, free will and all that—no judgment just informational awareness. Marijuana falls into the category of one of many drugs that rapidly expands your soul energy, encouraging your aura to have a perforation and leaving you vulnerable, which is the topic of this blog.

Since the aura is our protective shield, it filters incoming energy. When we do not take proper care of it, it can become weak and damaged. And if there is a problem on the energetic level it will eventually appear on the physical level.

The point is that you want to guard your aura as you do your health. Shine bright with clarity and be in alignment with your soul. You do not want to jeopardize your well-being by invading entities when you cause deliberate holes and/or tears in your aura by the abuse of drugs and alcohol.

There are times when one must take prescribed medications. It is best to be conscious of the possible effects. Take precautionary measures to maintain balance, positivity and protect your vulnerable energy field.

Treat your body like a temple.

Honor your being with meditation, natural sunlight, outdoor activities, nutritious foods, purified water, herbal supplements (with approval from your physician), crystal therapies and regular visits to a healer. I work with clients who have the specific need of repairing their aura.

It is important to remember that your success rate increases with diligence. Maintaining a healthy energy field requires time, effort and a commitment.

My personal view on alcohol

I’d say, whatever you do, do it consciously (with your full attention, presence and acknowledgement) and in moderation. If you have a glass of wine, bless it and enjoy it, guilt-free. And ideally in an energetically clear location, which means alone or with people that have good energy. Surely your aura is “safer” when you have a drink at home rather than in a bar or public space. And of course make sure, you drink high quality alcohol, like organic wine from well checked vineyards, or pure vodka.

As with everything in life: it’s a matter of balance. And of course, we are all individual beings with unique settings. What’s beneficial for one person, might be bad for another. And what might be good for you today, can be bad for you at a later stage. Be present and always check with your Higher Self and inner guidance.

Removing Curses, Hexes, Black Magic, Witchcraft, Sorcery

Whether you believe in it or not but black magic exists. We live in the 21st century and a lot has been changes but what remains the same is the law of nature. With the increasing technology and science, we have assumed that black magic is an old school belief but this is not true. Some people are increasingly performing black magic out of jealousy, greed, lust or frustration to make it difficult for other person to rise in life. If you believe that you are facing failures all of a sudden and if you are not able to grow on professional front even after putting in a lot of hard work, there are high chances that someone may have cast black magic on you.

It’s almost too difficult to believe the lengths that some people will go to in order to get their own way. And there can be nothing more controlling over a person’s body, mind and spirit than the curse of black magic. Black magic is used extensively throughout the world, although mainly in Asia, to influence the way a person might behave and act. In general this is not the way the person would normally behave. They are under someone’s control, someone’s influence.

The black magic spell or curse can be a very powerful weapon and the removal of a black magic spell is not always that straight-forward. Firstly, there is no instant cure for black magic, in the sense that you can just take a pill and it will go away. The removal of the curse involves repetitive deep prayer. This is what the Hindu religion describe as Mantras. Mantras are carried out in a tantric ritual, in which the black magic curse or spell will eventually be lifted.

Black magic is also better known in the Western world as sorcery, witchcraft, devil worship and Satanism. In all cases it involves contact with evil spirits who are beckoned to do the work of the black magic practitioner. This is the person who knows how to make contact with or to summon the evil spirits into action. This person could be just someone who practices the craft as an evil pastime, but is more likely to be someone who carries out this work as a profession.

Many times it so happens that we get surrounded with too many problems in life. It is said that it could be due to black magic but before getting to know how to break black magic, let us find out what the term actually denotes.

Black magic is the supernatural practices that a person perform to harm others. In this case, the word magic can be misleading as black magic is not a magic trick; rather it is an ancient science that involves power of thoughts and mantras to affects a person’s life in great way. It is also known by a variety of other names such as Dark magic, Jaadu-toona, Karni, Witchcraft and kaala Jaadu. This can be performed by mixing the toona in food or drink and asking the desired person to drink it. The tona can also be prepared in liquid form that can be further spilled over an object to possess it.

Black Magic has many names and languages known throughout the world since the beginning of time.  It is a general term for words like spell, witchcraft, curse, and Voodoo.  It is used for evil purposes by invoking the power of jinnee’s, evil spirits, or even the devil. The foundation of all black magic lies within the spirit world. A person who has mastered the art of sorcery and black magic can perform sorcery.  These black magicians follow a system for several weeks and months, calling the spirits in the underworld, doing rituals and making animal and human sacrifices to affix hands with the underground world. Once they have conquered these techniques, they take control of the spirits who are now controlled by the sorcerers command at all times. Then these spirits are used as a tool to access data regarding anyone and then used to harm that individual, even kill them.  Unfortunately, People that are driven by jealousy, anger, hate and different negative traits pay these black magicians to mentally and physically hurt their relatives, friends and colleagues by making them suffer in life. At present, the assistance of black magicians is being used within the legal systems from around the globe by several lawyers to win cases. Politicians and businessmen are also turning to this evil source to defeat their competition.

Black magic can be given to a victim through drinking or eating such as adding the black magic to food or drink.  If someone has a picture of you or a possession that you own (Example: a piece of clothing), they can give this to the black magician to make black magic against you.  The black magician can also make it in liquid form so it can be spilled over an object or piece of land.

Black magic is difficult to get rid of. It is more important to understand that black magic has been done before you can cure it. You can also be under influence of a black magic when you have some sudden unexpected major downfall such as you fall ill severely or when you all of a sudden suffer huge financial loss.

Black magic can not only cause spiritual damage, it can also be a cause for physical damage. Another important point that you must remember is that a person who does black magic is cursed. He or she will have to pay for what they are doing someday or the other. This is because irrespective of the purpose for which black magic is performed, the law of karma reigns supreme. It becomes like a bad deed done by the person who performs black magic and also on whose behalf it is done. It will surely come back to you in some form or the other.

Having understood the basics of it, let us now discuss how to break black magic and get rid of its effects. Prevention is always better than cure and this axiom holds true in the case of black magic as well. The best way to deal with black magic is to prevent it.

Symptoms of Black Magic You May Feel:

  • Losing or gaining extreme amounts of weight for no reason
  • Terrible headaches –  Blindness – Eye’s turning into a gray color
  • Depression
  •  Insomnia
  • Seizures
  • Bad luck
  • Pimples all over the body that have a bad smell
  • Nightmares
  • Very bad breath all the time
  • Body odor
  • Excessive fear
  • Bad health
  • Anger and emotional imbalance
  • Preventing a woman to get pregnant
  • Miscarriage on one or repeated occasions
  • Blocking a woman’s monthly cycle
  • Preventing a man to impregnate a woman

Causes:

  •   Destroying someone’s career
  • Afraid to leave the house
  • Leaving the country for no reason
  • Destroying a marriage or breaking a relationship
  • Blocked income
  • Death by kidney failure, heart attack and activating cancer in the body
  • Suicide
  • Indulging in alcohol, drugs,
  • violence and unhealthy sex
  • Bad luck with everything you try to do
  • Giving up everything such as a home, business, money and a will for no reason

On top of the symptoms of black magic and causes you can experience:

  •   Feeling someone breathing next to you while you are sleeping
  • Hearing whispering
  • Paranormal activity
  • Hearing someone calling your name
  • Feelings of being raped in dreams
  • Seeing shadows around you and also out of the corner of your eye

All of these are just some of the examples of symptoms of black magic.

One of the best ways to prevent evil forces is to always wear an iron bangle. You can also wear a bangle of panch dhatu that is made of five elements. When you wear these bangles then you are blessed and you will be protected from evil spirits. I must make an out of place observation here that an iron bangle also known as the “kara or kada” is one of the five essential items.

The only way how to remove black magic and how to break a curse is with a spiritual healer. Most of the time the spiritual healer will treat the symptoms of black magic using Spiritual Healing. The same goes for evil eye protection and demonic possession exorcisms.  The reason is because a spiritual healer uses form of magic such as white magic or Divine Energy. Other forms of black magic removal fall under the category of black magic and will make someone’s situation much worse. A spiritual healer is someone born with a gift from divine energy that has been given special capabilities to fight the evil spirits from the underworld.
